Product Description

About our Xylitol Sweetener

Xylitol is a sugar substitute found in many products such as chewing gum, toothpaste, confections, baked goods and more. Xylitol is classified as a sugar alcohol which are counted as carbohydrates in the nutrition label. For every 1 tsp (4g) there are 4 grams of carbohydrates and zero sugars. Even though there are 4 grams of carbs in Xylitol, you would subtract them from the total carb count because they are just ingested and then excreted by our bodies. We simply cannot metabolize it or use it for energy. Xylitol has 40% less calories than table sugar with the same amount of sweetness.

Anthony’s Xylitol is Gluten Free, Non-GMO, and is sustainably sourced from birch trees! Use Xylitol to replace sugar 1:1 in baked goods, beverages and more without causing a spike in blood sugar or adding extra calories to your diet!

Substitute for sugar - Looks, tastes and measures like table sugar! Substitute 1:1 with table sugar in baked goods, beverages and more without causing a spike in blood sugar or adding extra calories to your diet!

Suitable for diabetics - Xylitol does not raise blood sugar levels, and is therefore suitable for those who have diabetes.

Zero calorie - Want to lower the calorie count of your recipes? Just use Xylitol instead of sugar to cut down the calorie count.

Sustainably Sourced from Birch Trees

Would you rather consume organic xylitol derived from China corn cobs or non-organic xylitol from birch trees in America? For me the answer is 100% the latter.I love that this product is sourced from America and derived from birch. What I don't love however, is the price. The picture on the listing looked considerably bigger than it does in real life.I was thinking about using it in baking to replace Erythritol but at the price I think I will stick to using Xylitol for teeth health/toothpaste and instead continue using Erythritol as a component of my sugar substitute arsenal. Overall, this product gets 5 stars from me.If this review helped you make an informed purchase please mark it as helpful ♡
